Become a Partner

Opportunity is the right word for this team.  We don’t need sponsors, we need partners.  Sponsorship is a one way street with one party getting benefit from another party.  Our program is different.  We want to partner with companies to give back to those that give so generously to us.  We want to engage with our partners with their support, suggestions, and community outreach.

It’s way more than building robots. FIRST Robotic Competition teams (10+ members, grades 9-12) are challenged to design, build, program, and operate robots to compete in a head-to-head challenge on an alliance. Participants call it “the hardest fun you’ll ever have!” Guided by adult Coaches and Mentors, students develop STEM skills and practice engineering principles while realizing the value of hard work, innovation, and communication as a team.

Current Partners

Giving students these opportunities and skills requires a large amount of expenses. Over 70% of our program’s cash expense is spent on registration fees, travel, and food. Even with all our generous donations of time and materials we can’t cover the total cost of the program’s expense. Without cash our students can’t compete.

What Expenses We Have

  • FIRST Robotics Registration Fees
  • Specialized Robot Parts
  • Competition Registration Fees
  • Facility Maintenance Fees
  • Tooling and Part Costs
  • Travel To and From Competition
  • Food For Students
  • Hotels During Competition

What You Gain

Partnerships come with all of these returns on your investment in our program

We spend a massive amount of our resources on materials to build a robot. These materials are used in the training, prototyping and fabrication of our robots from year to year. With 37 students working at the same time, we duplicate tooling to allow each student’s project become reality. Each year we go though $XXXXX, your donations would be a huge benefit to us!

Materials We Need

  • Power Tools / Hand Tools
  • PVC / Aluminum / Wood / Lexan
  • Sprockets / Chain / Gears
  • Variety of Wheels
  • Computers / Electrical Components / Controllers
  • Electrical Motors / Batteries
  • Belts and Pullies
  • Pneumatic Cylinders / Valves / Solenoids
  • Threaded Rod / Bearings
  • Aluminum Welding Supplies
  • Printing / Precision Part Manufacturing

Mentoring is about sharing your knowledge and experience.  You are successful because of the experience you have accumulated over your career.  We want you to share that experience with our team and our students to help us be successful at creating the next generation of solution providers.
